About Kimmie....
I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD - Army brat. Spent about 9 years in California before finally settling here in Virginia Beach in 1996. I have a 19 year old son, Zack and a 6 year old Black Lab named Jake. I've been married 5 years to my wonderful husband, Rob. I have one brother and one sister who still live in Baltimore and my Mom lives in Bradenton, Florida (now THAT'S a lucky-hoo).
In 1999, I left the "safety" of the corporate world and started my own business. Rob retired from 25 years in the glass business and we started Hammerhead Cleaning Frenzy. We manufacture and distribute detailing and janitorial products. I work way too much in a man's world and am so happy to have found my Sistahs to spend time with.
I love music of all kinds. As a product of the 70's, classic rock is my "life force"! Any time you want someone to go to a concert, just let me know.
I also enjoy painting, mostly wine glasses. It's relaxing for me and, luckily, all of my friends DRINK!
Don't bother to invite me to anything during football season if the Packers are playing. I will be parked in front of my TV or at a Sports Bar, but I WILL be watching the games. Rob and I love to shoot darts. We are certainly not ready for the pro circuit, but we have a good time shooting with our friends.
I have an extremely sarcastic sense of humor, so, please take me with a grain of salt or you're going to get your feelings hurt. If you happen to find yourself in a room with me and any of my family members, wear your toughest skin. We come by it honestly!
Having been in an abusive relationship and witnessing NUMEROUS friends and family members go through the same, I have a special place in my heart for battered women, abused, and neglected children. I believe it's up to each and every one of us to do our part to help rather than pretend these things do not exist or "hope" that they will go away. That's why I WOOHOO!!
