Born Jude Lynn Bowman on March 1, 1960 in Hannibal, Mo. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, who all still live in MO.
I married my high school sweetheart, Mike Mosley, from Hull, IL. He has 1 sister and 2 brothers.
I went to school at St. John’s Mercy Medical School and received my certificate in X-ray. I’ve completed my Associates and currently working on my BS. (Well I can BS, just have to get the piece of paper.)
Mike and I were married on June 6, 1980 in Hannibal. We lived in St. Louis for 3 years.
We are very close to our families despite the distance.
We moved out of MO, when the Navy took us and our 2 children, Nicole and Brandon to Lemoore, CA. We lived there for 2 years. Mike received his orders for OCS and we moved to Virginia Beach in 1985. Nicole was 4 and Brandon 2.
I started work as the Radiology supervisor at Virginia Beach General Hospital. After our merger into Sentara Healthcare, I moved into the IT department and moved radiology to the latest technology call PACS (basically film went digital).
Mike has had many jobs over the past 28 years. He has spent the last 25 years in active and reserves with the Navy. He made rank of Captain this past October and is currently on active duty orders in Norfolk. Our daughter Nicole lives in Daytona Beach, FL. She is a certified athletic trainer for Embry Riddle University. Brandon lives in VB. He has 2 beautiful children, which made us Grandparents.
Mike and I love to travel to warm and sunny places. Our ideal vacation is BBS (beach, booze and sex). We love all inclusive and have ownership in the Palace Resorts. Our current vacations are annual visits to the Riviera May (just south of Cancun) for 8 days, 7 nights of all inclusive service. We welcome others to join us. This year we leave March 13Th.
I like to read, lay by the pool, drink beer (Michelob Ultra) or any diet soda with Vodka. In the summer it’s fresh smoothies with Vodka. Like my drinks by the pool. I like going to the beach as well.
We love to entertain and always welcome weekend visitors to join us. Just bring your own drink, a towel and a good book to read for the quiet times.
We bowl on occasion, but lately this bothers my hip, so it may be watching only. We play pool. I like to sew, although that comes and goes. I’m currently into refinishing some furniture, rearranging our house and take a lot of hints from HGTV. My current goal is to redesign without purchasing any furniture. I’ve done ok so far.
Of course my favorite hobby now is my grandbabies.
